Rain-or-Shine BBQ & YouTube's or a Movie

Let's get together to enjoy the summer and to talk about those obscure topics no-one-else wants to discuss with us. If we are lucky to have a sunny afternoon, we'll sit outside, as my husband, the BBQ master, cooks our food. If we get rain, the master will have to cook outside as we sit in the family room. The BBQ is big enough to hold everyone's food, so bring it on!

What will be provided?

• Coffee
  
• Tea
  
• Condiments (mustard, ketchup, pickles)
  
• Non-alcoholic fruit punch
  
• Two strawberry rhubarb pies
  

What to Bring?

• Your own meat, fish, chicken, or veggies to BBQ
  
• If you're a Coca Cola or wine fanatic, please, bring your own
  
• If you wish to, bring something to share, like a small salad, a little bit of dessert, chips, or anything else that tickles your fancy. If anyone wants to bring ice cream to go with the strawberry-rhubarb pie --please do so, and let us know on your RSVP, so we don't end up with six buckets of ice cream.
  
• If you are able to, please bring a lawn chair, so you can be more comfortable
  
• If you have any favourite YouTube's that you think we will enjoy watching, by all means, be prepared to offer your suggestion. Faith healing services, psychic shows, anti-religious comedy are all topics likely to give us a good laugh
  

Can you come by Bus?
Yes, it is easier than you think! A five-to-ten minute bus ride from the skytrain

• Take the 410 Railway bus at 22-Street SkyTrain
  
• Tell the bus driver to let you out at the McLean Ave stop (It will be the next one after the bus goes by the Shell gas station, on the left-hand side)
  
• Once you get off, walk back a few meters to the corner of Westminster and McLean
  
• Walk west on McLean for about two blocks, to the corner of McLean and Cochrane
  
• Walk right onto Cochrane Gate
  
• At the corner, walk right onto Cochrane Drive
  
• The next corner will be Cochrane and Chaldecott--find the house on the North-East corner

Absolutely! On your RSVP, indicate that you need a ride, and someone will contact you.
