About Ex-religious, Atheists, and Agnostics of Greater Vancouver

The Ex-religious, atheists, and agnostics of Greater Vancouver is a group for people who at some point in their lives abandoned the belief in Christianity or in any other religion, or never did believe in the supernatural.

Many former religious become free thinkers, skeptics, Brights, agnostics, atheists, deists, or pagans. But we all have in common that we lost friendships, long-time held beliefs, and even our families.

It is difficult to find people who have gone through what we have--or who disbelieve the way we do--and therefore, it is a good idea to meet and just share the ups and downs of our daily life.

This group could also be useful to those who are struggling with questions about the Bible or the tenets of a particular church. Perhaps the experienced former religious in the group can answer a few questions.

We can not emphasize enough that Christians and other religious zealots are not welcome in the group. Preaching and guilt trips from Bible believers will not be tolerated.
